Rhion and Openclaims start partnership car damage repair.

 

August 31st, 2020 – Rhion Versicherung AG, the German-origin and fast-growing insurer on the Dutch market, has entered into a partnership with Openclaims for the settlement and repair of its car damages. After several months of preperation, the partnership was officially sealed last week in Eindhoven, Rhion’s home base.

Rhion has been active in the Dutch insurance market since 2019. Rhion serves he market exclusively in collaboration with authorized agents affiliated to the NVGA. For the settlement of car claims, Rhion has now engaged into a partnership with Openclaims, the Amsterdam-based supplier of software for the insurance and car repair market.

The customer comes first

The collaboration with Openclaims and the use of Openclaims’ Repair Management platform, will enable Rhion to offer a completely new claims process, which focuses entirely on the end-customer. “It is extremely important for a modern insurer to take good care of your customers, especially in the event of damage”. says Berend Jan Tempelman, Managing Director at rhion. “We are constantly looking for new ways to make the lives of our TPA-partners and end customers as easy as possible and the Openclaims platform gives us the tools ├índ the insights that we need for this”.

The Openclaims platform will handle the settlement and repair of any car damage at rhion from start to finish. Within this process, the platform serves as the basis for all communication and data flows between the parties involved. “The vision of rhion and Openclaims are clearly aligned. Therefore, in terms of functionality, the platform is ideally suited to support rhion in setting up an efficient and customer-oriented damage process”. Says Lex Orie, CCO at Openclaims.
